Monarchs Will Compete in the 2019 Copenhagen Games

This year’s Copenhagen Games will take place from April 17 to April 20. Run by SLAP, the first Danish eSports community in history, the Copenhagen Games are Denmark’s most popular annual eSport event. In fact, the event is so important to the people of Denmark that Copenhagen itself helps finance it each year, and the event’s staff is comprised almost solely of volunteers. To be invited to play in the tournament is certainly something to be proud of.

The main events at this year’s Copenhagen Games will be the CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) and TF2 (Team Fortress 2) tournaments. Monarchs will be participating in the CS:GO tournament, alongside previous competitors eSports Adviser, and Granit Gaming, both of whom Monarchs defeated in competitive CS:GO matches earlier this year. It’s safe to say that The Monarchs have proven themselves worthy of a shot at the first-place prize of 330,000 DKK (Danish Krone), equivalent to 461,145.66 SEK (Swedish Krona), as well as soon-to-be-announced gaming merchandise! They are on a roll! But will Monarchs be able to keep it up, or will they cave under the pressure? I’m confident that they’ll pull it off, but only time will tell!
