The opportunity
We are looking for our next performance coach that will help the team reach new heights. 9INE has just signed its first international roster and to help the players excel in the server we need you to help them prepare in the best way possible. You will join our coaching team consisting of an Analyst, Head Coach and Manager and will report to our Chief Gaming Officer. This role may require you to travel with the team on bootcamps and LAN tournaments.
You will:
- Help players both individually and as a group become the best version of themselves.
- Work together with the coaching staff to develop the players in the best way possible.
- Oversee and analyze the players performance on an ongoing basis.
- Actively seek out and work with any problems that may arise in the team.
We think it would be great if:
- You have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in performance psychology, preferably in esports or traditional sports settings.
- You have a strong understanding of esports culture, game mechanics, and the unique psychological challenges faced by esports athletes.
- You have relevant licensure or certification (e.g., Licensed Psychologist, Certified Mental Performance Consultant).
- You have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Sports Psychology, Counseling, or a related field desirable.
